I Am new to wrangler forum jk. Two years ago I sold my tj and found I couldn’t be without my Wrangler so I just purchased a 2016 Two door for sport. It has Raptor Renegade LT255/75r/17 tires. I would like as nice a highway ride as I can get and still do some light trail off road. What is the recommended tire pressure for these tires? They have about 20 psi now but I don’t think that is correct. I red they should be about 37 psi but would like some conformation on this. If you could help it would be appreciated.
thanks you

Do the chalk test that will show you how much.

I am at 30 PSI with LT285/70R17 C load K02.
Gives good all around performance .
Think 20 is too low for the street . Premature wear for sure and would effect gas mileage.
You’ll find most people will run 28-32 on road .
The recommended pressure by the tire manufactures or car dealers is always to high.

The pressure recommended by the manufacturer assumes the tire will be under max load. Which rarely, if ever, actually happens. For real world driving, it's best to ignore that number. Just do a chalk test and find the right pressure for you. It's really quite easy to do.
