My jeep is throwing 3 codes: U1418 implausible right wheel distance signal,
C102B Right rear wheel speed sensor circuit and C1032 right rear wheel speed sensor signal erratic performance.

I changed my right rear sensor earlier this week and the lights come and go but when they come on they usually stay for the duration of the drive.

Any help would be wonderful

The codes you're seeing point to potential problems with your right rear wheel speed sensor. Since you've already replaced the sensor itself, here are a few steps you might consider to further diagnose and potentially resolve the issue:

1. Check Connections: Ensure that the connectors leading to the right rear wheel speed sensor are clean, secure, and free from corrosion. Sometimes a loose connection can lead to intermittent signals.

2. Inspect Wiring: Look for any signs of damage to the wiring that connects to the sensor. Pinched or frayed wires can cause issues with the sensor's performance.

3. Clear Codes: After making any adjustments, clear the codes with an OBD-II scanner and run the vehicle to see if they return. Sometimes codes can linger even after the issue has been resolved.

4. Check the ABS Module: If the codes persist even after replacing the sensor and checking connections, the ABS module may be at fault. A malfunctioning module can create erratic signals.

5. Additional Component Testing: It might be worth testing the wheel bearing and tone ring on that side as well, as any rust or damage there could also cause erratic sensor signals.

6. Scan for Additional Codes: Ensure there are no other underlying codes that could provide more context to the issue.

If you've done all of the above and the problem persists, you might want to consult a professional mechanic who has experience with ABS systems, especially if there's a deeper electrical or module issue that needs addressing. Good luck, and feel free to keep us updated on your progress!

To help confirm an issue you can use JScan and monitor each wheel speed sensor and see if any drop to “0” and if they do it confirms an issue with the sensor, wiring, etc.
