I’ve been looking for some lift kits of about 2.5” lift and was wondering what good companies to go with. Ive seen plenty people say Rough Country is bad so I didn’t want to buy a cheap lift and it bite me in the butt later on.

We’ve got the AEV and love it. It’s on 3 JK’s. I’ve got a write up on this forum somewhere of my thoughts of the AEV.

Just going by what I’ve tried, Metalcloak 2.5 true dual is my favorite so far. Rides / performs great on the road and works well offroad.

I've got a Rough Country 3.25" lift on her JKUR and a 5" on mine. Both are excellent performers, so clearly I disagree that they're "bad".

Yes, I’d say you are in the minority from what I read others post. But I don’t have any experience with RC, so nice to see some positive comments about them. Curious what shocks did you use? I could see that making a difference in the ride.

Both kits came with their N3 shocks all around.
