Hi! So i changed the throttle body in my 2011 JK and i had unhooked and rehooked the battery a few times throughout this process. Now when i try to start the car, the security light is active and it won’t start. is there a way to bypass this?

Your talking about the little red dot in the upper right of the dash cluster?
When I changed my TB to the Viper TB all I had to do was do the gas pedal reset.
yes! it only comes on when i try to turn the key. it doesn’t stay on. i’ve tried pulling the IOD fuse and it still didnt help. the car will unlock and lock fine, but won’t even attempt to turn over.
so i am an idiot. i left the window cracked and it had rained. my aftermarket remote start got wet and caused it not to start. i unplugged it and it starts fine now. false alarm!
At least it was a easy fix, thanks for letting us know.
