Rust review

Hey all,

Anyone care to look at the pics of rust on the underbody of a 2015 JK? Had it inspected for a pre-purchase inspection this morning and would appreciate thoughts and opinions. Is this normal wear and tear or anything to be concerned about? It's been in Illinois its whole life. Thanks!

Other then the exhaust it pretty much looks normal for a 7 year old vehicle from what I can see. Looks like it could need a exhaust maybe soon.

That's not bad for a northern vehicle. You can always clean up the rust spots and spray the whole underneath with Fluid Film.

I just bought (July) a 2014 Rubicon from PA and it looked similar. I used POR15 and a product from Eastwood called Rust Encapsulator and it’s worked very well.
