Rock light wiring

Ok need some help. The panel has built in led voltage meter. The switch panel word to the battery. Have rock lights wired up to a switch panel. Problem is i have to have key on to turn on the lights. How can I wire up the lights so the jeep doesn't have to be on? Do I have to bypass the switch panel or is there a way to use the switch in the 6 gang panel? I like not having constant power to the whole switch panel. Worried about battery drain if the switch panel is constant with the voltage meter.

You shouldn't need the volts reading since you have one on your dash, so just unplug the power to the volts meter on the backside of the switch assembly.

Then run your Key on Hot wire to the volt gauge then battery power to the rest of them.
