The heater blower on my 2016 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon is starting to chirp and I suspect a bearing is about to go. I've looked around for a replacment and there is a wide range of prices between OEM and local auto store units. Is there a decent quality non-OEM replacement unit out there or should I bite the bullet and get an OEM blower?

I didn't know you could take these motors apart. I figured they were permanently pressed together at the factory. Any thoughts on where to source replacement bearings?

I`ve never had one apart. I figure if someone put together it should come apart. If it gets destroyed your going to replace it anyways

Replace it. They are not repairable. I just did this in January. Do NOT get NAPA or aftermarket. They are cheap junk that hums loud on the 2 lower settings. I pulled the NAPA and got OEM. 2x the cost but worth it.
