Replacing my stock shocks with Ranchos. Should I buy the complete set that includes the damper and replace it too?

My steering is a tiny bit wonky. But unsure if its just normal Jeep handling. Kind of drifts a bit at speed on the freeway.

If your steering is sloppy the Damper is just a bandaid to try and cover it up, you should really find the problem and fix it.

Personally, I would change it with the shocks. @BLACKJKU is correct, the damper can mask minor problems.

I'm going through this with my son's JK. Even though we're replacing everything bad or even questionable on the front end, the damper does help reduce kickback when you hit an obstacle like a rock or curb. #SaveTheThumbs
