Rear dome led?

2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport.

I replaced the dome light bulbs from this LED kit.

Front dome lights work fine. Rear "festoon" style bulb spins freely and won't turn off when you close the doors.

I'm using the 42mm one. The largest one. There is also a 36mm long one that I can try. But I'm pretty sure its to short. I tried looking up the size on superbrightleds.com but they only show bulbs for the front dome light.

Can anyone confirm the size of LED they used in the rear? Or any solution? I tried reversing it too. No change.

42mm is the size of the rear dome. You might have to squeeze the tabs together ever so slightly to make a tighter fit. I never had and luck with non canbus bulbs. I ordered these when I did my interior https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G1JL5M2/?tag=jkforum-20

I used this for a rear dome light and double sided tape to hold it in place. Picked up the dome light wires from the right rear wiring harness that runs down the roll bar.

I didn't notice these weren't canbus. Damn. I'll try the crimping it trick. But will return these and look for a canbus set. I know thats important.
