I updated my 2013 Jeep JK cluster to a version with Premium EVIC. The digital speedo, coolant temp, and oil pressure gauges all work fine, but the Trans temp reading cant be correct (-58f), and the Oil life remaining is blank. Does anyone know how to fix this? In researching this upgrade, others had reported that all gauges worked correctly after upgrading the cluster.

Use a diagnostic tool to see if there are any fault codes present in the ECU that might indicate communication issues with the new cluster.

Double-check all wiring connections and ensure that the cluster is properly connected. Sometimes loose or corroded connections can cause erroneous readings.

When swapping to a different cluster, the vehicle's configuration may need to be updated. If you have access to a DRB III scan tool or a similar high-end diagnostic tool, you might be able to reconfigure the new cluster settings for your specific Jeep. This can sometimes resolve compatibility issues.

It's also worth checking if there’s any software update available for the cluster itself, as sometimes manufacturers release fixes for compatibility that may resolve display issues.

The blank oil life remaining could also indicate an issue with the oil life sensor on the vehicle, not necessarily the new cluster. Ensure that the Oil Life Indicator system is functioning correctly; it might need to be reset or reprogrammed in some cases.

Somewhat of an update. I decided to try and read my trans temp with the Jscan app, hoping to find out if the temp reading was the same as displayed on the dash, but the app cant read any live data now. Ill have to plug my old cluster in and see if the live data comes back.
