My 2012 JK, manuel, 120,000 miles, just threw the P06DD code. I’ve researched it and found numerous possibilities, everything from replacing the oil filter to replacing the oil pump. I did replace the oil pressure sensor last year. I’m wondering if anyone else had this issue and where to start? I’ve heard folks replacing everything from the pressure sensor to the oil pump, spending a lot of cash and not fixing the issue.
I wanted to check the oil pressure to rule out a bad pump but my JK doesn’t seem to have the oil pressure option on the EVIC. Is there a way to manually check the oil pressure? Everything appears to be working properly, the vehicle driving and sounding normal.
I also had the code PO128, (low coolant temp)thrown a couple weeks ago and I replaced the thermostat. Could these codes be related to a possible issue with the PCM?
