P0480 Cooling Fan Failure

Well at least this very comfortable, nice, well mannered Jk follows in typical Jeep fashion and throws a code within two weeks of buying it.

Any insight to this code? I cleared it and ran to temp numerous times, out about 20 miles and no return of CEL yet!

The fan still works then I assume?

My experience with codes like this is that if they pop up and go away, ignore it and don't worry about it. Sometimes gremlins happen (especially on Jeeps), and if the code goes away and doesn't come back, I figure that's exactly what it was... a gremlin.

Just keep an eye on it, but my guess is it won't be back. Happened to me a number of times with other codes that never came back as well.

Gotta love FCA for using sub-par electrical components.
