I have a 08 Wrangler X. I'm getting a P0305 error which is cylinder 5 misfire. I have replaced plugs, wires, coil pack, injectors. Still having it. I did a compression test on cylinder 4 and it was 170 and when i did it on cylinder 5 it was 240??? I am at a loss and any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks Shane.

A bad exhaust valve, bad o rings, oil getting into the cylinder, and excessive carbon build up can cause high compression readings. Does it puff alil smoke when you 1st start it?

Sometimes it will puff smoke on start up and sometimes not. I haven't really drove it more than 50 miles since this started because it runs to rough.

Your puff of smoke is probably your valve seals. My guess it's on cylinder 5.
