oh boy, this came up just now after it was running fine this morning. I feel like I should check the harness to make sure a mouse didn't chew through it? Is the harness under the the cap on top of the engine?

194,000. A few years back one of the injectors went and at the time I took it to a mechanic who said it might be a good idea to replace them all but I could only afford to do one.
That many miles injectors and possibly spark plugs.
I'd like to be able to test the spray of the fuel injectors themselves and maybe even the new ones I get. What would you suggest as a way to do it? I've seen a bunch of videos with one guy doing it with a 9v battery
Hey everyone. Git a pretty simple question. Where is my electrical connector on my jeep jk 2008? I'm trying to see if I can use a noid light to test my cylinder #5 to see if it's getting power. I have to take the manifold cover off so I can't start the engine. Thanks in advance. From the Rickety old jeep
Ok I think I know where it is now. Right on the coil pack on the side. Now when I unplug that and crank over the car with a noid light in the plug for the #5 I should be able to get to see if it lights up without starting the car with the manifold off. Because I feel like I wouldn't want to do that
Been posting about this alot lately but I've found this hard to find information on in particular with my Era of jeep which is a 2008. I need to test #5 injector circuit with a noid light but how do I turn over the engine to test the connector with the Manifold cover off? What do I need to disconnect to make sure the engine doesn't start. Just the coil pack?
Well the battle to fix these codes finally hopefully concluded yesterday. FTW
been posting alot the past week as I've been going about fixing these codes causing some engine trouble. In the end what solved it was changing out the injectors. I used a noid light after disconnecting the coil box and the light flashed which made me go ahead and take out the rail and the injectors and replace them. After driving her around to warm her up, waiting a few minutes then trying her again (as that's when the codes would come up) she started up great no problems. The sense of relief and accomplishment was so real after changing out spark plugs earlier in the week, taping up a wire, then finally changing the injectors I can say I'm now a pro at taking that manifold cover off haha.
For future reference for people who are tackling this problem this video was ESSENTIAL in guiding the process and highly recommend to get you started. What I would add that he doesn't do is PUT TOWELS in the cylinder holes in case God forbid a bolt or something falls in
