Oil filter brand recommendation?

I'd stick with the Mopar or Napa Gold (Wix) filters. I'm sure there are others that are just as good or maybe even better out there.

Listen to rick...good point taken ..and use autozone for air fresheners, wipers and non mechanical parts only ..good luck and keep the shinny side
WIX no longer makes NAPA gold oil filters as of 2023-2024 they are made in China Or Vietnam. WIX does produce the best filter by my research and can be purchased cheaper thru my Amsoil dealer than O’Rieillys auto parts.
I use mostly Wix filters on my vehicles and equipment but not all.
I have a Baxter oil adapter on my Jeep 3.6 so I use canister filters. Currently have a Wix on it.
Wix did have a bad batch of filters a few years ago. My employer got a bunch of them for work vehicles. Maybe 20 bad oil filters. Leaked from the housing. I haven’t had any issues personally so I keep using them. But I keep an eye on them.
I buy a bunch of Wix filters at a time from Rock Auto. Usually pay about $4-5 each last time I made a purchase.
