I know there are a good number of us who use the JScan app to track DTCs, check engine performance, change settings, etc.
But, my question is not about JScan.
I have an older version of the vgate Icar and am going to get a new adapter. What JScan compatible adapters are you guys using?

Yeah, I know it's only $30 or so, but I'm looking for something my wife can use as well for her Lexus, because there's nothing under the hood of her SUV I can do anything with. So, we're going to replace mine and get her one as well, but she'll need something that produces a pretty elementary, plain english description of the problem and fixes.
Appreciate your thoughts!

I like my OBDLink LX
https://www.obdlink.com/products/obdlink-lx/ but I also have & like the usb version SX.

As far as "plain English", the app that comes with it is pretty straightforward, but I don't know of any apps that give fixes, just what circuit failed. You can check it out on the website or I'm happy to grab a few screenshots if you like.
