Nitrogen in tires

I'm running LT275/70R17 General Grabbers. Came with my 2015 JK when purchased. One question I haven't gotten around to asking is if they are nitrogen-filled tires. The plugs in the image below are on the tires so I'm thinking that is the case. Does anyone know about this? Trying to understand if I can fill with normal air or if anything special needs to be done if it's nitrogen.

Also, the tire pressure on my dash says these are inflated to 45 psi. Is that appropriate? Seems high as I've read in other posts to go much lower.

Thanks.

Those are definitely nitrogen caps. Weather there's still nitrogen in them? 🤷‍♂️ Can you add regular air to your tires? Yes, but the nitrogen that could be in there will no longer work as it should. Then you should replace the caps with regular caps. Nitrogen is a dry gas with bigger molecules than oxygen. Bigger molecules means less time for air to leak out and never having to worry about moisture inside the tire. I run nitrogen on my bagged truck. I never have to worry about moisture in the air bag system. 45psi seems to be way too much! What's the max psi on the tires? Most places fill to the max or 5 psi below the max. Many will tell you to do the chalk test. It's proven to be the best method for YOUR vehicle.

I came across the chalk test in another post and that's what finally got me to ask about the tires. Max PSI is listed at 80.
