Just bought my first Wrangler yesterday. Traded in my problem ridden 2013 Mercedes GL550 for a 2018 Wrangler JK Sport S with 26,782 miles. Super excited to get busy modifying her! Any advice on the best places to start looking for upgrades? First decision is rock sliders or running boards? I’m only 5’4”, gotta be able to get in my Jeep to go play! Also, anyone have a recommendation on a CarPlay stereo with back up camera unit that will work in a ‘18 sport s JK?

So, yeah, I get the vertically challenged thing, especially if you're going to lift your JK at some point. I'm 6'6" with a couple inches of lift and it's perfect for me to step right into. The wife, however, depends on the step rail at 5' 5" or something.
There is a huge selection of step rails, rock sliders, running boards, etc. to choose from and they're all simple bolts-on with little or no drilling or modifications needed. You just need to find what appeals to your eye, practicality and budget.

EAG makes a nice rock slider that is also a step. With 2 small kids and a 5'3" wife a side step was a must for me.

I have the Seicane head unit 10” touch screen display w/ back up camera. Not a very good picture but you get the idea.
