New Hood Latches

Those look great. I’m looking to replace mine. No hood flutter but getting tired of putting back to black on them all the time.

I like those!! Do you have a link for them? Mine are still holding just fine, but I have a tiny bit of hood flutter that about makes me pee my pants sometimes. LOL

I really like these latches. There have been a thread or 2 prior to this and I'd really like to have a pair. My biggest concern is reaching behind the fender wall- I think you need a knuckle or pivot socket to get back there and my hands are gigantic.

I installed a set on my ‘09. Reuse the factory nuts and I did it with wrenches and swivel sockets. Hood stays down tight. Pulled the grill for more access.

That's the same reason I'm looking at replacing the factorys - no hood flutter here either. I love the look of these, and have them in a shopping cart just deciding whether I want to replace something that doesn't really NEED to be replaced. Then again, I've replaced tail lights, etc, only because they changed the look .

I didn’t need a pivot socket. They are easier than the videos.

Did the same project last week - but for my sister's JL, got from https://www.mopargenuineparts.com/sku/jlhoodlatchkit.html. Did some drilling tho.
