Ok....so disconnected the battery for the past 4 hours. The previous code went away. And back to No. 3 misfiring. So now im going to take that one back out and make sure everything is tight like you said.
Good thinking. At least Im back to sqaure one. HahaWhy don't you swap no3 plug and coil with another cylinder, that way it would rule out the plug and coil.
So....disconnected everything again, checked to make sure everything is good and tight. Left the battery disconnected for a few hours. Connected the battery. Now the 2097 code is gone. Went to drive it and the CEL blinked on me a couple of times and then disappeared. Then it came back on and is just steadily on with the original 0303 code. Could it be sending a false signal from a stored code?Good thinking. At least Im back to sqaure one. Haha

No. I ended up taking it to a buddy of mine thats a mechanic. He looked at it. Hooked it up to his good computer. Said it needs a good tune up (which its never had in 3 years ive had it). So hes gonna take care of it next week.Did you swap the no3 plug and coil?

Yeah this sounds a bit like a cash grab to me. I realize he is your buddy but if that is all he told you it smacks of typical mechanic vagueness. I'm curious what his "good computer" showed him?Said it needs a good tune up
