Mystery Tailgate Harness

Hi Everyone.... I am starting the process of adding a backup camera. My 2015 has AEV badging on it so it has gone through some level of their magic. I just got it so no idea what exactly they added.

After removing the tailgate panels, I found a harness that was added (but all wires cut at some point) labeled AEV Chassis Harness 6038. There is also a separate plug in there. Any idea what either of these plugs are for?

Also - did these come from the factory with a backup camera?

Any help or ideas welcome!

Well after watching some videos I learned the smallest plus is for the 3rd brake light that I don't have. Makes sense and glad to know it's there.

Still no idea on the other, larger plug...
