MPG?

I am only getting 11-12 MPG in my 2015 Rubicon JK (2 door). 3” lift, 35” tires. Runs great, no fuel leaks, etc. Any ideas?

Is your speedometer correct verified with a GPS?

What gears do you have since you have 35" tires?

Speedometer is off a little. I verified MPG with miles/gallons used = MPG. Stock Rubicon gears (4:10 I think it is)

That would be enough to give a lower mileage reading if speedometer is off and 4.10's aren't the ideal gears for 35's but will work ok for a DD. 35's being a tall and wide tire will lower your mileage because of the rolling resistance.

If you have an automatic and didn't have the speedometer adjusted when you put on 35s that is the first issue. Jeeps use the speedometer to control shift points.

This will also effect the test you are doing there. If the vehicle still thinks you have on the stock 32" tires, the distance measurement is going to be all messed up too.

Get yourself the JScan app and iCar Pro Bluetooth OBD2. Then you can tell the Jeep it's running 35's. That will help with shift points if automatic and correct the speedometer
