Mismatched hard top

Just bought a 2007 jk and realized the hard top is not original to the Jeep. It has a wiper arm and rear window defrost on the top but we have no controls on the Jeep. How can I hook them up? Was thinking of just adding the correct size fuses and switches. Has anyone had this issue?

You can either have a dealer enable the wiper/washer & defrost or do what I did and use an obd2 dongle & app.
 
I have a 14 hardtop on my 09 Rubicon and the way the things talk I would definitely suggest a kit like the one listed above. You could dig around and see if there is a cheaper one, but I doubt you'll find it.
For all the parts it shows there it seems a pretty fair price to me.

I definitely suggest getting an app like OBD Jscan and dongle (search the forums, there are a few threads on this app) as it will pay for itself pretty quick if you plan on doing really any upgrades to the jeep.
