2012 JK manual trans. So I saw this tube just hanging other day, seems to go on top of transfer case but I have no idea what it does or where it goes. Has a broken tue strap. Any Information would be helpful

That's a breather it should be fastened up high so that when you drive through water up to your doors it doesn't get into the T-Case.
