Drove up to Titusville, FL and tooled around the dirt roads of the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge to get my new tires dirty. Not much wildlife as it was the hottest part of the day and the migratory birds have gone back up north (smart move by them). The Kennedy Space Center is on the Refuge and I got a shot with the VAB in the background.
I thought about staying for today's Spacex launch to get a shot of the liftoff behind my Jeep but that would have meant staying out in the hot sun for 3-4 hours so I ixnayed that idea.
