Just got new Yukon 4.56 gears installed on my 12’ JK Rubicon, manual.
The 4x4 shop that installed them mentioned they don’t recommend going over 65 mph or it could cause premature failure (even after break in period).
I took it back after install due to a concern of noise from the rear diff. Tolerances we’re still in spec but the coast side has a loud ‘whirring’ noise. Only about 85 miles on new parts so far.
Is their advice of 65mph or less legit?
Any comment/info is appreciated. Thanks
