Looking for Hemi swap advice

Can someone please give me some advice on doing a hemi swap. I have a 07 wrangler that unfortunately has the 3.8. I am not wanting to dump the 3000 grand in it for the long block. Mainly because I won’t be happy with it. I was told the hemi would bolt right in and I would just have to do the computer. Any information on this.

The best advice I can possibly give you is make sure you are prepared to spend 20k.

If you want to do it right and have everything work, 15-20k is a very realistic number and that's doing the labor yourself.

Whoever told you it will just "bolt in" doesn't know what they're talking about or has a very, very loose definition of "bolt in".
