Looking for a part with no success

I have a fuel leak. There's a fuel line that goes from the main line to the injector rail. The line is about a foot or so long. The leak is where it connects to the main line. I've been lookinh for a replacement for the short line but haven't had any luck. Any suggestions?

Evidently, this part is no longer available and has been replaced by the entire fuel line. I'd rather not replace the entire line if I dont have to. Can I just seal up the connector with JB weld or something?

You have to ask yourself if you trust JB on a plastic fuel line - which, by the way, is already showing general signs of failure and end-of-service-life, with 65+ psig of fuel in a hot engine compartment while you, and conceivably others that you care about, drive down the road...

Don't be foolish here - replace the entire line or do a proper repair.

What I would try would be to remove the plastic line from the connection ends, then use a quality fuel hose meant for fuel-injection pressures with real EFI-rated hose clamps. Alternatively, you can usually get "repair kits" with assorted ends and in various sizes. They can often be found in the "Help!" section of many brick-and-mortar repair stores. Here's an example: https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p...tKpPyZuesiMaUEIskv-66aeWdEzEeftYaAug-EALw_wcB

Wrong!
Just take it off, and take it to the Hose-Man.
They make custom hoses of all kind. That is what they do, and that is what I did.
It was under $20, but your mileage may vary.
Now you know!
Fires in the engine bay of jeeps are common, wonder why?

I don't think hose-man or any hose guys make fuel injection line (I may be wrong though). You might want to try a specialty shop that does AN and brake lines. We have a shop here in so cal called G&J surplus that makes that kind of stuff. Make sure you have the right tool to remove the line, that makes easy work of it and less damage. Sometimes the leak is from the seal in the fitting. I have never been able to buy just the seal but I have bought a "Like" hose and pulled the seal/fitting to use in my old tube/hose with 100% success.

As mentioned above, Do it right and don't risk a fire. They suck.

Say what?
Hose man is a pro shop that makes hoses. Custom, OEM, rebuilt, or replacement for anything! Power searing, transmission, fork lift. fuel line aircraft.
Don't trust your jeep to that crappy OEM plastic fuel line! I see a lot of burnt JK's I wounder why?
Zoom in and you can see thier work..

No offense about hose man, but I know they don't make AC lines or brake hoses. Most hose shops do not work with tube or DOT stuff. Maybe they have branched out some and I did not notice.

So, you have not been to the shop, have not bothered read their thier reviews but are here to proclaim what they do and do not build! With confidence totally unsupported any actual knowledge! I'm an actual customer, so what could I possibly know?

Are you replying to me?

Ok, let’s break this down.

“So, you have not been to the shop”

I have been to the one on inland empire blvd in Ontario many, many times. My shop is in Ontario so, if it was a decent shop, it would have been very convenient for me. About 50% of the time they did not have what I needed. My shop has three pumps that put out 10k psi, OSHA requires a 20% head room or cushion, so I need 12k psi or more hose. They rarely had it. They also had a problem with understanding fitting orientation. That caused me a lot of trouble even on low psi hose and fittings. Which is why I would be surprised if they did fuel injection lines.

“have not bothered read their thier reviews”

100% correct. I’m old school and prefer to “see for myself”. Reviews seem like the rest of social media to me. That’s just me though.

“but are here to proclaim what they do and do not build!”

I did not proclaim. My apologies if you read it that way. I’ll re quote my comment:

I don't think hose-man or any hose guys make fuel injection line (I may be wrong though).

“With confidence totally unsupported any actual knowledge!”

I am confident. But it is not “totally unsupported”. I do have knowledge of the company you refer to. Based on my knowledge, I use US Hose and R&L Equipment for hose needs.

“ I'm an actual customer, so what could I possibly know?”

To be fair, I am not sure what you know. But this is a friendly forum here and are always open to hearing your knowledge.

So, do they make the fuel injection line the OP needs for his Jeep?
