Locking lug nut update

Get a 12 point deep socket slightly smaller than the nut and drive it on with a hammer then use your impact wrench to remove. May need more than one socket because it will destroy it.

I've done this with an impact socket before. It worked for all 4 and still got to keep the socket in use. I used a bench vice to lock the socket and hammer out the lugs.

Just did that exact thing as mrjp said. Heated the nut, knocked smaller socket on, then breaker barred it off. Worked like a charm.
