Left side LED taillight not working with trailer wiring harness plugged in

I just installed some LED tail lights in my '14 Sahara, the left side does not work with the trailer wiring harness plugged in. Once I take it out of the loop all works as it should. Any ideas as to how to solve this issue? My very basic understanding of this is that the wiring harness is creating more resistance and possibly dropping the amperage to LED tail light. Is there a work around other then taking the wiring harness out or the loop?

Okay, I was looking way deeper then needed. Since both the trailer wiring harness is after market and the LED light is after market the plug is very tight, sssssoooooooo after about two hours of checking voltage on each pin and looking for a short in the trailer harness I pushed the two connectors together as hard as I could and voila, the light now works.

Im About to install the trailer plug for mine and I have the LED taillights also, this thread made me say oh crap for a second, thank god it won’t be an issue

Yeah, everything worked as it should once you plug the connector all the way in
