I have a 2009 JKU. I replaced the factory headlights about four years ago with LED lights. It all came together. They were literally plug and play. My lights have worked great, until recently I noticed when I unlock my jeep that my passenger side front headlight comes on very slow and then one headlight the significantly brighter than the other one. I bought brand new headlights, replace them, and I’m still having the same problem. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Check your battery terminals for corrosion. Your alternator could also be going so get it tested. Check all your battery and grounding cables as well. These are all issues that can lead to problems with headlights, especially LEDs since our Jeeps weren't designed for them.

As others have said, check the terminals for corrosion and make sure to look at any adapters (if they were used).

That said, if these were cheap, Amazon/eBay specials, don't be surprised if one of them is simply failing.
