The battery light on my 2016 JK started coming on intermittently, so did some investigation with the VOM.
At idle and running up to about 3k rpms I get about 13vdc at the battery, sometimes dropping to as low as 12.8. I measure a solid 14.2 at the alternator at idle.
That leads me to believe the problem must be with the voltage-regulator, which I understand is located in the PCM on these vehicles.
Looking for a consensus before buying parts.
