Hey all, just installed a d44 on the front of my 2012 2 dr jk. I have already changed out all that needs to be changed and Jeep running like a champ.
I have but 1 question, how do I determine my new trailer towing weight. I can no longer use owners manual for obvious reasons.

Little confusing, I’m running 4:56 gears if I change my axle from a 30 to a 44 there is absolutely no difference. I’m looking at the chart and I see rubicon 2 dr that has 2 d44 has 3500, now I also know that they are not the same year, but what could have changed that much. The only thing I can think of is stronger frame. I’ve upgraded everything in suspension to what I believe to be as strong as said rubicon. I’m not looking for justification just education

It's not only towing that weight down the road It is getting it stopped also. Your brakes factor into the equation also.
