How can I get Uconnect on a 2008 Wrangler JKU?

Does anyone know how to get uconnect on a 2008 wrangler unlimited. I have the head with the buttons but says not equipped. OS there something that can be installed on it to be able to use it?

It's not as simple as swapping in the head unit, as I believe the wiring harnesses and other things are different. However, I would skip it altogether. Uconnect in the JKs is absolute garbage IMHO. Get an aftermarket head unit that does Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

No problem! Trust me, get a head unit with CarPlay or Android Auto and you'll be way happier than the POS Uconnect system.
