Looking for some insight on my 2015 JKU exhaust. I just mangled my stock muffler on a rock and need to replace it.
I don't want to put in another stocker because it is just going to happen again.
I also don't want excessive noise in the cab.
I want to increase clearance, dump after the axle and keep things quiet.
Stainless would be a big plus because of the salt here in New England.
Thoughts?

I see Pypes has a street pro model that is more quiet than that model. I'm trying to compare it to the flowmaster American Thunder system. Tough decision

I noticed many if the aftermarket mufflers are smaller than stock. This would reduce the chances of hitting it coming off a rock.

I personally would go this route.

Thanks for all the help. I ended up going with the Flowmaster American Thunder system. There was a really annoying drone in the cab from 2500-3000 RPMs. I removed the Flowmaster and installed an MBRP 1012 20" resonator up front then put the muffler directly after it. Couldn't be happier with the fit and the sound. Enough rumble to hear the engine without the drone rattling my teeth.
