2014 jku rubicon with factory heated seats. So the the passenger seat works flawless but the drivers Seay does not. When you push the button it stays on until it starts to warm up then shuts off. If you push it again it shuts off again in a second or 2. Any ideas or causes?

My guess it would be the switch getting hot and it's shutting down. The drivers side is probably used more then the passengers side.

The HSM is detecting a short or open circuit condition I bet....mine is doing this, and AlfaOBD shows open circuit errors on both my seats.
I measured by resistance on each pad.
What resistance are you guys measuring? The Chilton manual shows 5-7 Ohms per seat element. However I read 7 ohms on both backrest pads, and 22 ohms on both bottom cushion pads. Seems odd both bottom pads would read the same ohms if failed? I assume they fail open or shorted.....

Now I am not sure if I have a bad HSM or both seat bottom elements are toast (no pun intended) haha.
