I have 2014 Jk and I am currently running 285/70/17 BFG take-offs from a 2020 Rubicon Have had tires for about 40,000 miles and they have worn evenly and pretty good but tire shop set them at 40 psi and told me it was fine but I have been noticing a rougher bouncy ride the longer I have had them. I mainly drive on highways and I was wondering what others are running for PSI in these for a smoother ride without excessive wear?

Hey SWJ so I have nitto trail grapplers 33x12.5x 17. I live in philadelphia pa and travel that suck ass coffin bumpey interstate I-95 .my nittos are just a bit larger then yours and I run 32 lbs like you said 40lbs is too hard the ride almost compatible to driving a fork lift truck with no suspension .drop the air and enjoy your jeep better

Every vehicle/suspension/wheel/tire combination is different. The solution is simple. Do a chalk test to determine the best pressure.
