New member here from southern Idaho. USAF Veteran and Jeep owner since 11/2024. I am retired status, by profession was a GM tech working for dealerships and other fleet companies (diagnosis & heavy drive train). I ended my automotive career in sales for GM dealerships. I purchased a 2013 Jeep JKU (not a stranger to owning Mopar vehicles like a 1968 440 Satellite/Road Runner clone. I'm finally at the point that I fixed a list of electronics and mechanical issues that today results in a great driving 3.6L w/ no CELS. At this point it's all modifications/customization. My garage parts bins are filling w/ suspension parts from MetalCloak etc., but waiting to do the mods at one time.

Glad to be here and look forward to engaging the online forum locals. Here's a pic of my 2013 JKU after fitting it w/ new shoes.

Welcome to the forum! You have to tell me how those Baja Legends perform, I was thinking about getting a set before I got the Baja Boss instead because they're Three Peak rated.

Thanks for the welcome! @Cimmerian this is the video that helped inform me about my tire purchase. Also, DIscount Tire offers price match and military discounts. The Legend EXPs are lighter and not as aggressive as the Boss and quiet on-road where most of my driving occurs. If I could do it again I would have purchased the same tire but in Pizza cutter size: same height, and two inches less width from 12.5" to 10.5" for less rolling resistance. No regrets though and I hope these tires last about 5 years given the price of 5 tires! I'm sure the Baja Boss are more aggressive and heavy duty (more plies) tires than the Legend EXPs.
