I'm looking at a Dana 44 out of a 2015 JKU. I have a 2017 JKU. The axle looks right, I just wanna know if it will bolt directly up or will it need any modifications??

Yes they will bolt right up. Like mentioned above. Just make sure the gearing matches.
Are you talking about the front or rear. Either way they bolt bolt up. Even thou the Non-Rubicon rear is a 44. The Rear Rubicon has stronger shafts. more splines. The Non-Rubicon is 30 splines and the Rubicon is 32 Spline.

At the moment no. Gonna re-gear anyway with ELockers. I'm just looking for a front D44 thats not going to cost me an arm or leg.
Keep an eye on Marketplace. I found a set from a 2015 with 55k miles for 1900.
