Converting to auto headlamps?

Who else has tried to do this? I didn’t even know you could but it does work!

One would think there needs to be a light sensor involved for this to function correctly.

In the video, you do not know if he tested the auto functionality, and it appears too light out for them to actuate automatically if enabled on the stalk.

How can lights work automatically unless there is a light sensor?

I don’t have a sun sensor on my 09’ so they constantly stay on when left on the auto setting but they do automatically turn off when key is cycled off.
