hey guys. I got a misfire on cylinder 4, changed that jeep was fine for 2 days then got code P2317 and the jeep was shaking and felt like it kept skipping when I hit the gas so I changer all the other coils and spark plugs. Ran ok for like an hour and then same code and all the shaking and felt like misfiring on the pedal came up again. Then changed an injector and then my battery jeep worked fine for like 20min and then the same code came up again. jeep will run fine for like 10min and then will run like shit for longer. back and forth. anyone have any idea? any help will work thank you
 
Causes for this code may include:
  • Bad spark plug wire or boot
  • Malfunctioning relay or blown fuse (fusible link)
  • Open or shorted wiring or wiring connectors (wildlife damage)
  • Defective ignition coil
  • Faulty camshaft or crankshaft sensor or wiring
I'd start by inspecting all of those things. You can also test many of them using the procedures outlined in the factory service manual (FSM).
