Hi,
my first post.
I haven't bought my Wrangler yet, but scanning the classifieds on an autosales sight, I saw the pic below. I would very much like to store my spare as my new Wrangler will be pulling my vintage Airstream. Without the wheel in the way I can hook up easier and also open the rear window without the wheel and high brake light getting in the way.
My question is: can I buy a conversion kit?
Thanks,
Marc

My thought:
Stow your spare as factory designed when you're not towing the Airstream. When towing the silver sleeper, simply stow your spare in or on the trailer.

I bought a spare tire delete plate on Amazon. I also bought stainless head studs for a early 2000s Ford modular V-8 - 5.4 and 4.6 - M8 and 1.25 might be 1.5.

Studs let me hang the plate with RTV to delete the broken air vent.

Studs would let you easily pull the spare and the carrier if you so choose.

Be careful because removing the spare carrier removes your third brake light.

I'm all for an aftermarket stereo...they make ones with 10" screens that replace part of the dash...with a camera hung right over the hitch.
