Bronze Wheels on a Rhino Jeep

I was looking into these a couple days ago..wasn’t sure since I’ve read good and dangerous things about them. Heading to Harbor freight this weekend for the jack and stands. prob just pick up this spring compressor also just in case.

Any tool can be dangerous if not used properly. I just used them a couple weeks ago to change my coils.
 
When i get my Jeep up on jack Stands, how will i be supporting my axle? With 1 floor jack right in the middle or should i try and get a second floor jack to place on either side of the axle to support the axle when replacing parts? Can’t find an answer on this.
 
I take the left end of the front track bar loose and the bottom ends of the shocks, then jack the front up from the center of the bumper or frame. Leave the tires on and you may need a couple of blocks of wood to put on the jack's plate so you can get the frame up high. Also I found it was easier to put the spring compressors on before lifting the frame up. That way you don't have to do so much tightening on the bolts to compress the springs.

Then do the same for the rear, just watch the brake hoses that they don't get to tight and break. If your doing to much over a stock lift you'll probably have to replace the brake hoses anyway.

Heres an update on the lift install. Started yesterday and worked on it for 7 hours but was only able to get the front done

. Hit a few snags with removing the brake line from its bracket and and getting the bolts in on the control arms..everything else went good. Going to finish it up today. Think the rear should go a lot smoother 🤞
 
Something I like to do for safety is when i'm doing something like your working on is to leave the rear tires on until I would be ready to do the rear. Then when moving to the rear have the front tires on, it makes me feel safer.
 
Had to install wheel spacers before the lift and wanted to make sure the loctite dried before tires went back on..but yea that wouldve made me feel safer leaving set of tires on while working on one end..i shoved the tires under the jeep just in case..

Quick question. Instructions say to remove exhaust skid plat/cross member. Does anybody know why? Is this just for clearance or will i lose some kind of support under the Jeep?

If it was me I wouldn't unless when you got to that point you needed to. When I just changed my coils I only needed to unbolt one end on my track bar so the axle would drop farther.

Looks great. I have a Rhino 2 door. I considered bronze wheels but wasn't sure I'd like the look. Enjoy your awesome Jeep!
