I had this big rotor / brake kit by teraflex installed shortly after switching to 37's about 2k miles ago. I understand there is a break-in period but still after 2k miles im getting squeals occur when slowing down for red lights or stop signs. Only hear it when car is braking at about 10mph or lower. Is this normal after 2k miles?

I can't speak to this kit specifically, but have had vehicles that did this due to the pad compound. If Teraflex is using a compound geared for performance under higher load it wouldn't be unusual for them to make some odd sounds under light load/lower temp.

I have a Teraflex big brake kit on my JK but it was already on it when I bought it, the pads don't make any noise.

My teraflex BBK does not make any noise either.

The fact the sound is only during specific conditions, is possibly due to harmonics. Vibration at a specific, temp, speed, pressure etc.. A simple and cheap try at a fix is to get a small to of the anti vibe glue/liquid and put some on the pads where the calipers contact. I have had luck squeezing some from the top and letting it kinda flow down around the caliper.

This size will last probably 25 brake jobs. But it is an easy application and works good. I have used it for many years with 90% success even if I did not do the brake job, I can still get results by putting some on as close as possible to the caliper and pad. I think it dampens the vibe more than any contact solution.
