Does anyone know if code B1B02 indicates a bad clockspring? All the code description states is “driver open circuit”.

I know there is an extended warranty on the clockspring. Problem is I made an appointment at the dealer to have it looked at. My wife takes it in the next thing I know she text me “they don’t know about the appointment” then “they will take it maybe look at it next week they want $825 to diagnose the problem” to which I reply “I am not paying that for them to hook up a machine and pull a code”……..next text “should I sigh the estimate for $825?” My reply “NO, bring it back home!”

I am assuming it’s the clockspring since there is a known issue with them. Wanted to check and see if anyone had this specific code and replaced the clockspring and it fixed it. Looks like an OEM clockspring is around $300, anyone use an aftermarket one and have good luck?
