My buddy just called me, his 2012 JK automatic does not downshift when he hits the gas pedal. It only downshifts when he lets off the gas. Is there a solenoid or linkage as likely culprit? TIA. <break> I just looked at it, fluid level is fine, replaced last year as well. It stays in gear until high rpms and does not upshift until you let off the gas. This just started and at the same time it now has a squeal similar to a belt squeal while this is going on. Any takers?
