Hey Everyone,

I am getting ready to buy some side armor for my Jeep Jk Sport 2dr. I found these two rock guards with steps (link below) that I really like, but I cannot find them for the jk 2dr. One even comes in jk 4dr, tj, Lj, yj, and cj, but not jk 2dr. Just wondering if these or armor like them is available for a 2015 2dr.

I don't see a link, but I went to ARB's site. Yeah, don't see anything for the 2dr. Since 75% of '07 to '18 JK's were Unlimiteds, the fact 2drs don't get the love doesn't surprise me.

That's a bummer. Those ARB's look beefy, and they are actual rock sliders that could probably withstand some serious Moab action, unlike the Hooke Road pseudo-slider/nerf bars I just installed on my 2017 Rubicon 2-door. The Hooke Road ones are pretty nice, don't get me wrong, but they are not welded to heavy duty plates like the ARB's. They do have pretty good mounting plates that bolt directly to the frame-to-body mounts, but anything bigger than a good sized tree branch would probably bend them up. I'll be posting pics soon. If I stumble upon some real rock slider bars for a 2-door JK in my travels, I'll post here for you.

I forgot to ask - do you have the factory "Rubicon Rails"? They are pretty beefy, but only protect the pinch-weld area and do not extend up the rocker panel area (and don't have steps).

Okay, here's some more info. I remembered Rusty's Offroad in Alabama has some great products, but I checked their website and they only have rock sliders for 4-doors (like everybody else). The good news is that they engineer, design, and make everything in-house. I knew some guys back when I lived in Las Vegas who had Rusty's custom fabricate some parts for their Jeeps, and I seem to recall their prices weren't insane. It might be worth a call.
