Aftermarket Immobilizer 2008 JKU

I have a new to me 2008 JKU that came with an aftermarket immobilizer with a one button fob. It came with only one immobilizer fob so I need buy a second one as a backup but there are no markings on the fob. Where should I look to find the immobilizer circuit in order to identify the make and model of the immobilizer?

I've decided to remove the immobiliser. Where are they typically tied into the electrical wiring? Is there a standard connection point or a location under the dash where I can find the circuit ?
