33/12.50/17 on stock wrangler sport

My daughters BF is buying her rims from a friend that runs an off-road shop, he said to buy 33/12.50/17 tires for them.

Are these too big of a tire for a stock 2017 sport 4 door wrangler? I don’t want her to have major tubing issues.

No that's just the next size larger, but you'll need to reprogram the ECM for the tire size.

I'm running the same size tires on Stock Willys rims. I am running 1.25" spacers as well

None because of the offset. I had 1.5” spacers with my stock rims.

Some tire shops would not rotate my tires because of the spacers. I don’t have that any more.

I rotate my own tires. Got tired of the shops using an air gun to put on the lugs. A couple of shops even cross threaded a few lugs. My Jeep below
