I have a 2010 JK that has a small head gasket leak. Before starting the repair, my mechanic did a bore inspection and found that 2 cylinders have scoring. He suggested replacing the engine rather than replacing the head gaskets. Has anyone had much experience with just running the engine with the scored cylinders? It has about 120k miles, and is not using oil at this point?

Suggestions on who to buy an engine from would also be welcome.

Attached are pics of the scoring on cylinders 2 and 4, and of the evidence of a gasket leak in cylinder #3.
